this woman told me that the world can tell that she does not get out of the village very often. she went chritsmas shopping with her children. tho, shopping ended to be more of popping in and out of stores she had never been in. only to hear the constant echo of one child, that he had been there before or no not another bed and bath store ... . to one child nudging the other child, to agree, 'yes that looks good', so a final decision would be made instead of more agonizing and contemplating over bedding choices.
to being in one kitchen shop, and one child asking the mother 'have you ever had sex on the beach' ... even tho the mother had heard other inquisitive question or statements from one child before, this one had her baffled on what answer to give. not recalling the turn of events, but the daughter was looking at shooter glasses, therefor asking about the drink called 'sex on the beach' ... ! so the answer was 'yes, i've had sex on the beach'!
contrary to the belief of my children, i was not a child all that long ago. but it seems that they do not dress up stores and malls as much as they once were ... with frosted or painted windows, to walk ways spiced up with trees sparkled with lights and other holiday decorations hanging from the ceilings, to christmas music playing various tunes. the season now, turned quickly into the buying power, they have you there by submission and guilt. no need to lure you in with any great festive magic to entice. almost seems easier to find a parking spot, than to hear even after the purchase, 'merry christmas or another seasons greeting'.
