Baghdad, January 11 (Prensa Latina)
At least three more US soldiers died Wednesday in Faluja in more resistance attacks on the occupation troops, local media reported.

The guerrillas made a bomb to explode when the US military patrol passed, killing two and injuring another soldier.

The media noted that the US military previously demanded their Iraqi counterparts to replace local police around Faluja

Local witnesses said the guerrillas and occupying forces are evidently preparing very significant actions in this city in western Iraq.

Another US soldier died in combat with the resistance in eastern Al Khalidiya in an attack on an occupation tank. In the melee, besides the soldier, a civilian was also killed and two wounded, police reported.

There are now 2,214 US soldiers dead in this Arab country and another at least 16,330 wounded during the 34 months of the war since the United States and United Kingdom attacked the government of Saddam Hussein.
