B.C. pondering earlier daylight saving time

ENERGY SAVING PLAN
It might just mean the difference between night and day.
The B.C. government wants to know what you think about extending daylight saving time.
A proposed change would see DST extended by four weeks beginning next year.
DST would then begin on the second Sunday of March, ending the first Sunday of November.
The U.S. has already committed to something similar as part of an energy saving measure. The idea goes that an extra hour of daylight every day through the extension period would add up to substantial savings.
Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec have already signed on to the extended DST implementation.
E-mail your thoughts, before March 10, to: agwebfeedback@gov.bc.ca.
