The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy

Harvard Study: The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy

"U.S. foreign policy shapes events in every corner of the globe. Nowhere is this truer than in the Middle East, a region of recurring instability and enormous strategic importance. Most recently, the Bush Administration.s attempt to transform the region into a community of democracies has helped produce a resilient insurency in Iraq, a sharp rise in world oil prices, and terrorist bombings in Madrid, London, and Amman. Very interesting article. I've been having ongoing discussions in the same vein after I'd posted a piece about Apartheid Week events in Toronto.

I have comments from all sides, particular those who are sympathetic to the Israeli state. Some comments were so hateful and disparaging that I did not allow them in. A few commenters were good, insofar as they tried to present their reasoning intelligently.

Take care and keep up the good postings. I like your site.

cheers, (my new blog)
