through the eyes of the other side ...

Israeli media describe killing civilians as terrorism.

However, when Israeli occupation soldiers kill Palestinian civilians, they do not describe the Israeli killers of civilians as terrorists.

It's time for Israeli terrorist acts to be described as terrorism.

Israeli occupation forces use the term "arrest" for "kidnapping" Palestinians from their homes. Objective media worldwide should not fall to the Israeli trap. This is kidnapping.

The Israeli occupation of Palestine is illegal under international law. The Israeli occupation government and its occupation forces have no jurisdiction over Palestinians. Only legitimate governments can arrest citizens. It follows that the correct term is "kidnapping" Palestinians, not "arresting" them by Israeli occupation forces.

IOF continues to Unleash Unwavering Arrest Raids in W. Bank
31/01/2007

WEST BANK,
Palestine, January31, 2007 (IPC+ Agencies) - -Israeli occupation has been still launching its fierce offensive on the West Bank and arrested today dawn and overnight 25 residents and a failed attempt on the life of one member of Islamic Jihad military wing in Jenin as well as tore down three houses in East Jerusalem for building the Aparthied wall.

In a fresh incursion into Burgeen village of Jenin today dawn, IOF soldiers launched house-house searches and coerced households to leave out in the open air before arresting nine residents, let alone the havoc left by the soldiers during the storm into the houses, the local sources reported.

Six residents were arrested today morning in Nablus city and its refugee camp on the pretenses of being wanted by its security services under a volley of gunfire at random.

Failed attempt on a fighter life in Jenin
Earlier, Israeli occupation forces ambushed one leader of Islamic Jihad military wing, Saray AL Quds, west Jenin Tuesday night, an undercover unit opened fire at a car , wounding one resident from AL Yamoun , hos brothers and the cab's driver then arrested them all.

Dozens of military vehicles arrived to the scene directly after the ambush and closed the area barring even Red Crescent ambulances from coming in.

One child, identified as Sa'ed Mahmoud Abid, 12, was shot and injured by a live round in his leg.

Mahmoud Abid, Sa'ed's father, said that soldiers fired at his vehicle as he was driving through the area along with his wife and children.

Medical sources in Jenin described the condition of the child as stable.

Three houses demolished in Eat Jerusalem
Israeli bulldozers accompanied by the IOF demolished Tuseday three Palestinian houses in two East Jerusalem neighborhoods, Issawiya and Attur, and the village of Eizariya, east of Jerusalem. Eizariya is having its land stolen, houses demolished and olive trees uprooted for the expansion of the Maale Adummim colonial settlement and the route of the Apartheid
Wall.

Occupation bulldozers first tore down the home of Mohammad Ahmad El-Hersh, where three families lived, over 100m from the route of the Wall. The families were told they would have to foot the bill of the demolition. When asked where they should go and live the IOF told them it wasn't their business, that they should figure it out for themselves.

The bulldozers then moved to the area near the land razed for the Wall where a partly constructed house, used as an animal shelter, was demolished. The house belonged to Mahdi Qatmira. Mahdi was, however, more upset about the uprooting of around 20 of his olive trees: "buildings can be rebuilt, but these olive trees take a lifetime to grow and were destroyed recklessly in seconds."

The IOF threatened to demolish some bedouin shacks in the same area. One of these shacks belongs to Khaled Bashat, a scrap metal merchant, who risks being made a refugee for the fouth time. The bedouin expect the IOF to return very soon
